Dispite the running, we did not come in time for the bus to leave. Hans went up to Breck for some skiing, while I took the day off from skiing. Keeps me really motivated if I ski 4 days straight, and take one day off. I took the bus up to Breck, and went to the Recovery Center (Gym). Had a nice little hour of lifting weights, to finish the things off with 15 minutes jacuzzi!...
After a few hours of chilling back in Frisco, after todays snowstorm, I went up to Woodward. This is Russ, thinking he can run up walls. You get REALLY tired of jumping in these altitudes, but it was superfun. Gotta run to the store, peace!
Bobby Brown, Elias Ambuhl, Russ Henshaw and Me, doing some tricks at Woodward today. Snowstorm hit Breck at mid-day, and we took rest of the day off with some trampolining.
During an average ski day you partake in a ton of different events. You get out of your hot house, to a cold car. Your car warms up, then you get out of it at a cold mountain covered in snow. Your heart rate increases, you get warmer. Then you get on the chairlift again sitting there and your heart slows down and you cool off. The cycle continues for your whole ski day....

When I am finished skiing everyday, I am pretty much flat out tired. Hans chilling in front of the tv. Football in us is not exactly soccer. Today I had great plans for working on my foreward 1080, therefore the thumbs up! And by the time I got to the chair, it was pretty much awesome. No people in the park, new snow and perfectly groomed! But after a few warm-up laps, the weather played us, and went grey....
Normalement, je deteste les sequences et je n’ai pas vraiment change d’idee ici …mais bon je voulais essayer voir. Pour le long down-flat-down….un gars est venu gacher notre session, donc il n’y a pas vraiment de shots dessus. Pour le reste, c’etait un beau setup deja monte, ou ridait deja quelques snowbordeurs locaux. Encore une journee grise par contre…visuellement c’est pas le mieux, mais bon, voila quelques photos.
Claire Hughes and myself left Whistler last week to head for the Canadian Freeskiing Open at Revelstoke mountain. So a pretty rubbish qualifying day for both of us. Thankfully McKenna and Axel, salvaged our house respectability, and qualified for the next day. Our only housemate in the final Axel, was tenth. A long hungover drive home only to be met by a very rainy Whistler.
