Our annual Christmas Eve sesh at Hyland. The tradition might be dead now with just four of us old friends left. We skied a park that was as busy as ever. The name ‘Reunion’ really meant something this year. None of us call Hyland our home hill anymore, and all live in different cities. Summit Boardshop runs a damn good competition. The 2nd qualifier rail jam went down at Afton Alps with an hour long jam format....

Happy New Years from the SASS Crew! We talked about the season so far and the upcoming events Mad River had going on. Ry is a past SASS client, and was stoked to show us the goods. When it’s snowing, it’s best to make it a Jay Day. Wind had blown tons of snow into the trees and face shots were had by all. Epic, epic, epic.How epic was it?...

Me and Magnus took a few laps through the park and did some airfollows. Makes it easier to see what’s going on in the air and so. To bad it’s half-way around the world.

Currently, I am writing this blog while sitting at the Saga World Headquarters. Thanks guys for putting me up and all the hospitality. I have spent a few days exploring PC and one epic 8 hour powder day at Snowbird. I also poached some of Nazi Resort that some refer to as Alta. Some untouched runs were had. We were at the summit as the sun was cresting over the peaks....

I’m doing great. I spent the entire fall working on music! I also was also afforded the opportunity to go to the International Freeskiing Film Festival. It was one the greatest experiences of my life! Now that the mountains are open , what’s on your agenda for the next little bit? Make More Music For People ? Good or bad I am certainly enjoying the “chitter-chatter” as you put it....

I went out to Kansas City, KS for a fun-filled family Christmas. The drive out, my brother and I saw some snow. 4 accidents within 30 min of the drive from Denver. One of which involved a flipped CDOT plow and a semi. Dicey to say the least. Then there were dozens of cars off the road, almost us included. The hill was big and the hill was packed. Then, I’m on the road where I forgot to bring the camera cables....

Collin arrived into town just before the New Year. Check out the Photos for now while we await Collins completion of the Edit. As you may have noticed in the two previous photos Collin has been working on getting Blunted Out. Willie Nelson with a nice backy. Faction athletes Tessa Treadway and Martha Burley have been busy touring around BC selling calendars to raise money for breast cancer research. Their calendar is full of amazing skiing shots – all girls skiing too – including Ingrid Backstrom, Grete Eliasson and Linsey Dyer, and pictures donated by some of our favourite photographers including Yves Garneau and Re Wikstrom.
