Attended a local railjam tonight. Fun rails, but snow was hammering down pretty hard, and visibility was bad. Well, tomorrow is bigair. Inrun looks short, so waxing my racer-jump-skis might be a good idea! See you in the evening!

Just got home after a 5-hour drive from Lillehammer. Home just for the weekend, and for a railjam in Vassfjellet. Also the Bomba Big Air start-list is taking form. I am stoked too see the big names popping out of that list!

Scott Damon has been out for back to back collar bone injuries this year but when has that ever stopped a 15 yr old from skiing for the season . He called Monday and said he wanted to get out to Park City’s pic n’ shovel park after school to see how things were feeling. Of course I’m going to bring the camera along, so I poached a couple photos of the day....

Today was one of the best days of the season for me. Crowds heading towards the light, looks like Thursday is the new Saturday. Good light and he stomped it. Landing looks flat in the picture, it kinda was. Then to the backside, what is a day of photos at Alta without sending the infamous A-Frame cliff. In one run we bagged this air to the slash shot below. This photo might be one of my favorites this year (claim)....

After sharing the podium at three major events this season and a never ending series of fun & games antics in followus.tv Xavier Bertoni and Kevin Rolland have unintentionally started their own Xav Kev fandom in France.Equipped with giant flags, horns, bells, face paint, and plenty of good natured home town pride the fans of Xav and Kev raised the bar for audience hype level during the superpipe final at the European X Games in Tignes....

Varsity Team Member, Banks Gilberti traveled overseas to compete in the Euro Open as well as Euro X among the best park skiers on the planet. Banksy has had one hell of a season this year proving that he can hang with the best of ‘em and in our opinion, have the cleanest, most unique styles in the game. Shout out to Banks for a stellar 09/10 season… Get back home and let’s shred some pow!...

It’s been a warm March so far. Park crews in Minnesota have never heard of salt. Well, maybe they have, but no park in this state gets anything salted. The rail kickers and jumplines are mush. Everything is mostly un-hittable now. The jibs are starting to melt out and wobble. Everything is mostly depressing. Can you taste the epic already? Stay tuned… gonna get un-boring real quick! The last couple weeks have been pretty uneventful....

“I’m heading to Jackson”. Drop that gem in the lower 48 and watch everyone’s eyes get big like silver dollars. The place is legendary – Judaism has Jerusalem, Islam has Mecca. Those of us in the skiing community who only ski the green circles to get to the bar have Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The name even rolls off your lips, like a pair of fat skis rolling into 45-50 degree Pucker Face on Cody Bowl....

The Red Bull 401 took place 3 weeks ago in Hoch Ybrig switzerland! The comp was a lot of fun, the weather was perfect and the concept legendary. After switzerland it was about time to go back home and take part in the Austrian Freeski Open! This year all the athletes gathered in Kaprun! The location was new and the thoughts were high! After a good first traing day up on Kitzsteinhorn everybody was ready for the big Finals!...

The path selected for John was on the village stroll in the heart of the Whistler Village. I must have posed for more than 2,000 photos last night on everyone else?s cameras. I have never seen so many smiles from so many people in one place. I wish we could all carry a small torch like this in our pockets always? actually I think we can? It was a magic night....
