Momentum Camper, Alex Bilodeau Wins Olympic Gold!

This was also the first time Canada has ever won GOLD on home turf. Jennifer attended camp at the age of 15 along with her sister Amy in 1995. Shannon attended camp at the age of 17 in 1998. Dale-Begg-Smith, another double Olympic medalist, won the Gold in 2006 and now adds Silver. This summer we are excited and look forward to having both Alex Bilodeau and Vince Marquis as coaches!...

Railsession

Me and Eirik Brresen went to Lillehammer railpark after a failure in the Hafjell-park. 20 minutes with a park that was not even groomed. The railsession was worth every minute! We brought the HD camera, and shot every try we had. THAT was quite a few actually. 3 hours with intense skiing is pretty hardcore, compared to regular park-skiing. We mostly hit on the rail in bewteen, the 10 meter downrail....

Seth Morrison Checks in From Ripley Creek

With the economic state and lack of mining, Stewart is pretty much a ghost town in the winter. A few hard-core sled necks are pretty much the only people going into these mountains. The crew consists of Kye Petersen, Callum Pettit, Sammy Carson and myself. Being with such a youthful group of skiers was nice to see — energy and fearlessness. The mountains here are pretty intense, poking right up out of glacier ice fields....

Windells Academy: OUR season is going strong!

But here at Mt. Hood, that is far from happening. Last week the students of Windells Academy rode powder ALL WEEK long. Timberline even had Palmer, (their highest lift on the mountain) open. So there was amazing shred all the way from the top, into government camp. Not only has there been continuous snowfall on Mt. All and all, Mt. Hood is the place to be.

Just an hour away from Trondheim, and 50 minutes with train from the airport of Trondheim. Set-up: The setup is easy. 1 style trick + 1 technical. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. So get your stuff together, and come join us at Storlien 26-28th of March....

European Open

Photos: StadlerAs any skier knows, weather in March is predictably unpredictable, as was the case this past weekend at the European Open in Laax, Switzerland. Although some competitors had flown in from halfway across the globe, the weather conditions were unwelcoming to say the least.  Violent winds, heavy snow, and white-out conditions rendered the weekend a total bust.Gearing up for the Arctic exploration superpipe qualifiersSaturday’s slopestyle event was canceled due to the whole “not being able to see the jumps” situation....

Bluebird at Loon Mtn.

With two days of rest and catching up on emails after my trip to Reno, I headed back on the road to Loon Mountain this past weekend to shoot for their brochure and website. Despite the 2:00 a.m. wake up & departure from Cape Cod, I was pretty excited for most of the 3 hr 20 min drive to get up to my home resort and shoot the sunrise atop North...
